Johnny Lee Young, 70, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at his home.

Mr. Young was born July 15, 1938, in Texarkana, Texas. He was an employee of Red River Army Depot and a member of New Town Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Young of Texarkana; one son, Michael Howard of Texarkana; two daughters, Anita M. Williams and Mary Frances Batts of Texarkana; two brothers, Adolphus C. Young of Oakland, Calif., and Vigie L. Young of New York City; one sister, Carolyn F. Young of Texarkana; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Lyles Funeral Home with the Rev. Warren Smith officiating. Burial will be in Red Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
