Class of 1959 50th Reunion

Dear Classmate,
Our 50th reunion, about nine months away, is fast approaching. The 50th is a milestone in our lives. Different years may well have different significance for different people, but we all pause for this one. We reflect; we share; we think. We talk about things that have gone well for us and not so well. We think about good fortune and bad. We honor classmates who have died too young. We talk about missed opportunities and possibilities still in front of us.
But mainly we celebrate and connect and re-connect. We strengthen old friendships and make new ones. We value each other, no matter what. And we party and we have fun. Mark October 16 - 18 of 2009 on your calendars now and plan to attend. Our planning committee, led by Bettye Odom-Dorsey, is working hard to prepare a good time for us all.
We sincerely hope that you will attend our 50th. All of our classmates will be delighted to see you and to share and laugh about our respective fifty years of life experiences since graduation.
Registration Deadline is August 16, 2009.
